Niki Haris

Though her career has taken her beyond the jazz circuit, Niki Haris’s roots are here. The daughter of Grammy®-nominated jazz pianist Gene Harris, Niki grew up in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

Niki and her father released two albums and a live CD before his death in 2000. Carrying on his legacy in jazz, she’s released solo albums, toured Europe with her jazz quartet, and starred in the touring production of “Billie & Me,” a celebration of the life of Billie Holiday.

Niki has lent her voice to the projects of Ray Charles, David Sanborn, Patrice Rushen, Michael Sembello, Leann Rimes, Michelle Branch, Wilton Felder of the Jazz Crusaders, Stanley Turrentine, and Anita Baker.. She’s also been featured in the soundtracks of “Corrina Corrina,” “The Big Green,” “Coyote Ugly” and Disney’s “Anastasia.”
